Broadband USB modem not restricted by hot spots
Tired of searching for internet “hot spots” while out and about then maybe a broadband USB modem will lower your frustration level. Franklin Wireless has the first USB dongle EVDO mobile broadband modem available in the states. The CDU-550 enables PDAs, mini-tablets and other mobile devices lacking a PCMCIA slot to connect to the internet, taking it further the CDU-550 isn’t restricted to just hot spots.
The dongle works with Windows Mobile 5.0 (most popular portable OS running) as well as WinXP, MACs and Linux gear. No price points yet, but jump to Franklin Wireless for more info.
