SanDisk, the 2nd largest seller of MP3 players just gave the well known Sansa a face lift. The Sansa Connect is the next step in wireless MP3 players. What we like about the Sansa Connect is the ability to access your music or photos via any Wi-Fi hotspot. This means the storage capacity of the player itself isn’t limited, but rather your PC storage capacity determines that – something we all know is east to upgrade.
In addition, the Sansa Connect receives a wide range of music subscription services and streaming Internet radio. With a “live” button to connect into communities and grab features or recommendations for music genres. At 4GBs you can stuff (on average) 1,000 songs into the flash memory, but again, virtually unlimited when exchanging anywhere, anytime via Wi-Fi. Product is expected to hit March of 2007 at about $250USD.

LG launched their KE850 mobile cell phone yesterday and with a 3 inch touch screen they’re looking for action. Although the phone was announced last year, it’s debut into the market place is still a little ways out.
Featured with a 2mp camera, Bluetooth enabled, USB connectivity and MicroSD card slot this tri-band GSM/BPRS/EDGE power house is ready to take on the iPhone. At nearly $750USD it’s a hard ticket to swallow without Wi-Fi but with a name like Prada I don’t think it really matters.

Portable Bookmarks is a U3 compliant internet bookmark management utility which is easy to use with unique features. Portable Bookmarks makes for a great edition to heavy internet users who rack up numerous bookmarks while going about their business.

Maxfield released their sleek looking MAX-IVY MP3 player just a several month ago. The new product is very attractive, small with high-tech magnesium casing. Sizes are available from 1GB to 4GB and play all the formats one would expect (MP3, WMA, WMA-DRM, OGG, MPEG4, AVI, WMV, JPG). At 14 hours play time and only 42g or 1.5oz the model definitely peaked our interest.
Our friends at Gadget Centre had the following to say in their review,
“The GUI itself is pretty good; the functions are clearly listed and presented with a large icon on the IVY’s decent 1.8in color screen.
TOPCOM WebTalker 5000 is a standalone, PC-less VoIP telephone. What makes this possible is Skype embedded software technology. If I could test this out I would call Microsoft – let them know that still after 1 million IE7 downloads, Firefox is coming on stronger then ever. The momentum continues with Firefox as the downloads are users converting to the web browser rather then upgrades from IE6 to IE7.
During the Skype call I could use the OLED screen of the WebTalker 5000 to enhance the experience and ad my new Microsoft contact to my Skype address list. It appears to be an easy install – like a regular analog telephone, all you need is a broadband connection and router. In addition, the cable connected hand-set can also be re-connected to

The Optimus Keyboard is a brilliant twist on the traditional keyboard. Each key runs a OLED so a specific image illuminates the function of that specific key. This makes for an all-in-one design for multiple languages or program users who want to customize certain keypads, like a Photoshop user, or CAD designer. With customizable images the functionality is unlimited. Then again, are keyboards so expensive to manufacture an all-in-one design is needed?
This might be the exact keyboard NASA needs as they recently requested an undo button for satellite software upgrades. Apparently

Update:Â Read a full review of the MoGo Bluetooth Mouse.
It’s been reported recently of Newton Peripheral’s MoGo finger nail sized Bluetooth adaptor, but no one pointed out the flat mouse – does MoGo do anything normal?
The MoGo Mouse slides into your express card laptop slot (recharges) all the while having the nub of a Bluetooth adaptor hanging out the back-end. Excellent tools for the road warrior or, like me, the minimalist.
Using v2.0 Bluetooth technology you get enhanced Wi-Fi and up to three times faster data-transfer rates then more common v1.2 adaptors. Of course we wouldn’t do this post unless the MoGo Bluetooth Dapter connected via USB.

Well, Synaptics released ClearPad back in August ’06 stating just that. ClearPad is based on Synaptics’ proprietary sensing technology and offers unique capabilities like multi-finger input, proximity sensing, text entry and high resolution finger input.
