US Robotics adds 6th VoIP phone to line card
It seems like every 3 days or so there is another VoIP phone product being released. To keep on par with that trend, yesterday US Robotics turned out a new Skype VoIP phone. The USR9630 includes a touch-pad phone and base unit. The base unit connects to both the handset (plus 3 more) and your standard land-line. The USR9630 is not PC free however, you must make the PC connection via USB to get Skype VoIP working. The handset range should reach about 150 feet indoors or 900 feet outdoors. The product is not yet ready but should be before November is out, till then you have five other VoIP US Robotic options. Pricing is estimated to be $100USD.
