The MNEMOSYNE USB cube is an artistic 3 dimension puzzle hiding a 16GB USB key inside. The product is made by SolidAlliance, which based on their past products, is all a puzzle to me. I can understand the artistic point of all this, but take that away and this is what you have:
Waaay back in August of 2007 we purposed everyone get a new USB Front Man for the boss, girlfriend or co-workers. Well, Tengu [your front man] now has an updated look. Introducing the “Peace Out,” the “Lightening” and “Wild Child” Tengu USB talking gadgets. The Tengu automatically moves it’s LED mouth to the music it […]
GetUSB.info reported on the USB Engine Hub back in June ’07 from SolidAlliance and we scratched our heads on the reason why. Well the product is real (which we didn’t doubt) and below is a short clip of what the USB engine hub can do. What we didn’t report on…or didn’t know at the time…is […]
Update: The Tengu is now available from ThinkGeek for only $45ish. SolidAlliance might be on to something with their USB Tengu, self talking USB gadget. At the size of a cigarette box this guy comes to life upon USB connection. The LEDs turn bright red into a friendly face, then reacts to music and sound […]
Now here is a total waste of USB space, yet something which is totally cool…well…that is if you are 8. SolidAlliance has yet out done themselves again with the pop-up pirate USB hub. Come on, I know it put a smile on your face. I doubt anyone reading this post will flinch for their wallet, […]

Chris Ollis introduced me to his concept USB chassis design, the USB-iscuit Biscuit. ~~~ For those not familiar with European biscuits, we’re talking about cookies. Chris developed several flash drives from ripping apart […]
Now this truly is a USB powered gadget. Earlier this week SolidAlliance introduced the USB engine hub. Based off a two liter motorcycle engine the USB hub houses 3 USB ports and takes up quite-a-bit of space. Two things are crazy about this. One, the USB engine hub makes noise, a lot of noise. The […]
I’m on the fence about this one. Solid Alliance came out with a UFD which also incorporates a stamp. It’s called the USB Stamp. Use one end to store data and the other to graffiti up whatever is with-in arms reach. The problem I see with this is the time it takes to eject the […]
Solid Alliance creates the limit for expensive flash memory with their $800USD flash drive called the Mottainai. It’s got 24K gold and crystal settings from Satsuma Kiriko (a who’s-who glass maker in Japan). Although gold is the shinny layer on the outside the enclosure is mostly made of bronze. The heavy weight goes along with […]
