USB Volcano
Here is an excellent example for the term “useless USB gadget,” the USB volcano. The USB volcano is comprised of a plastic shaped volcano which blows red plastic bubbles out from the center after you’ve filled up the jar with water.

The USB volcano illuminates, so when the lights are off you get a cool glow effect from the LED lights. Gadgets4All is pitching this as a great décor item to spice up your desk space or turn your boring atmosphere into some more Jurassic Park. I don’t know about that. Even at $18 I’m having a hard time finding a reason why.
