USB Sound Drive

Written by Richard Blanchard on February 17th, 2007. Posted in Flash Storage, USB News

Well here’s another twist someone came up with for a USB flash drive. Tele-CompSolutions came up with the all-new, patented USB Sound Drive. The UFD auto plays a message upon connectivity to the host computer.

Not a bad idea as many UFDs are used for promotion. The USB Sound Drive becomes your triple threat; message, imprint, download. The patented technology is the playable speaker found inside the device.

Although, if the message can’t be turned off after the first or second play the sound drive will become very annoying. Who wants to hear, “I just saved a bunch on my car insurance” a 100 times a day?

None the less, another twist on USB if this is even for real – the picture by Tele-Compsolutions is obviously a mock-up.
