Review: Logitech MX3200 Wireless Keyboard

The Logitech USB MX3200 is a stylish wireless keyboard, loaded with hotkey options and built in LED display features. Our Across-the-Pond friends at Gadget Centre did a nice review and it’s worth a read if you’re shopping for a wireless keyboard.

The Logitech MX3200 is a sleek black HID (human input device) that connects instantly via the secure USB receiver supplied, using Logitech’s SetPoint software to configure a range of hotkeys to work within Windows.

The keyboard includes dedicated multimedia controls and four hotkeys you can configure to perform custom actions, such as opening specific folders or applications. You’ll also find additional shortcuts for Microsoft Office, web browsers and email software with a touch sensitive dynamic search and zoom slider.

Logitech includes an LED display that shows a digital clock and alarm, emails, instant messages or a countdown timer, and a smart search function fires up a selected search engine to automatically browse the web for selected words or phrases. You’ll even find VOIP control built into the keyboard so you can initiate or terminate phone calls.

The mouse has a similar search key, along with a total of eight buttons and a scroll wheel, all customizable to your own action preferences. All of this is achieved without making any sacrifices on key layout or comfort; it will instantly appeal whether you’re typing reams of text or looking to streamline PC operation.
