Minox DMP 4 an MPEG 4 hand-held storage device
Minox released their DMP 4 media player as a self proclaimed “image tank.” It’s not clear exactly how Minox is marketing the product but it can record video feeds directly to the 2GB internal memory or the DMP 4 can be a vault for in-the-field image storage for photographers. I believe there are better products for video archive to flash memory and she’s a little short on storage space for digital photographers, especially if you’re one who shoots in RAW mode. Although Minox does offer an expansion slot for another 2GBs of data via SD or MMC. With 16GB flash drives popping out like pop-tarts – 2GBs just doesn’t spark the interest as it would have 12 months ago. None-the-less, we know there is a BIG following with Minox and the DMP 4 does have some nice features, thus here’s the directly manufacturer link.
