Lindy locks it up via USB

Written by Richard Blanchard on January 16th, 2006. Posted in Flash Storage, USB News

Nice little twist to the USB flash drive…Lindy offers a USB lock and key solution. Lindy LockInsert the USB drive into the port and remove the key dongle. A USB lock remains in the port blocking access. This is a great deterrent from introducing viruses from a USB device or data theft via the USB port, but doesn’t lock down recorder drives, floppy drives or other ports. Pack of 4 just under $23USD. Obviously there is not flash storage with in lock.
