WiRanger da Icron è un mozzo senza fili del USB gli che rende più facilmente che mai al unclutter il vostro scrittorio e ridistribuisce quel crap al credenza, all'armadietto di limatura o ai vostri compagni cubici.

“La tecnologia flessibile di ExtremeUSB del Icron è il motore che permette i collegamenti dei USB 1.1 o 2.0 sopra tutti i mezzi: radio, cavo, linea elettrica o ottica delle fibre.„

Icron così dato è esperti con il USB, saltante in WUSB è un movimento logico.

Che cosa gradisco circa questa soluzione è software è necessario per la configurazione così Windows, Linux, l'Unix, utenti del Mac può trarre beneficio da questo prodotto. Il mozzo usa un dongle del USB dall'elaboratore ospite che comunica con il mozzo a distanza.

Usando la radiofrequenza 802.11g il WiRanger può trasferire i dati fino… a bene, Icron dice appena l'alta velocità. La velocità sarà determinata dall'uscita periferica circa di 58Mbps - non le prestazioni di radiofrequenza e del prodotto del mozzo. La gamma è a circa 30 tester dall'unità bassa all'unità del mozzo.  Il WiRanger è un mozzo port 4 ed ha un insieme MSRP di $395. Icron ha detto il mozzo di WUSB per essere disponibile questa primavera, che dovrebbe essere tutto il giorno ora. Let me help Belkin help you with their latest product announcement the In-Desk Grommet USB Hub and In-Desk Grommet iPod Dock Station. Every now and again, a real great idea comes along and I believe this is one of them. What I like about this solution are the side spaced so you can still fit your other cables, like monitor and keyboard connections down through the desk grommet.

At $39 the Belkin In-Desk USB iPod dock station and hub are a fair price. Belkin also has two other “flat” models available. Grommet size solutions are standard 2 inch and 3 inch holes. RiDATA introduces their Yego flash drive, the name is a twist on Lego as the Yego lets you connect multiple flash drives, creating a mini-hub environment. And if you haven’t done the math already the “Y” in Yego is derived from the fact that…well, just look at the picture.

What GetUSB.info is most interested about is what kind of transfer rates can you expect from the additional drives plugged into the “Y” connectors. We’ve put one on order and will report back. Available from 128MBs to 4GBs.

Brando released another Disney trinket, this time a Disney USB hub available in either a blue Donald Duck or Black-n-Red Mickey Mouse. Not much else to say other than the Disney USB hub has four ports and runs $14.

As I’ve mentioned before, although you order directly from Brando in Hong Kong shipping is quick and cheap. The last item I purchased was the USB Circus Cannon. You can read a review of the USB circus cannon but if you’re going to drop some coin stick with the USB missile launcher. (more…)

We’ve seen the Apacer rotating USB hub before and USB Brando unleashed their version of what I’d assume to be the same. Although they did get creative and changed up the color from rainbow to solid blue.

Yep, Japanese company Century tweaked a PCB board to house 16 USB ports. Not bad for a USB addicted gadget freak and with an internal power supply even those poorly made USB flash drives that suck too much juice…will have…well, juice. Also included are two PC USB-B adaptors to spread the wealth of 16 ports. Doubt this will make it to the US so here’s the company link for 16 port USB hub.
