2nd of 4 Star Wars Mimobots Revealed As “Wicket”
Mimoco just released the second Mimobot of their Series Three in the Star Wars line, this one is Wicket. I guess this would be about as cute as one could get for a USB drive. It’s a complete opposite of the Darth Sidious release last week.
The remaining two characters will be revealed in the next two weeks, and the entire series goes on sale July 23rd. Check out the closeups and a little diorama of Wicket standing on an Imperial Speeder in the woods with several other characters.
After all, what good is a USB drive if it doesn’t look like one of your favorite movie characters and can’t be set it up in little dioramas?

Darth Sidious is First of Four In New Star Wars USB Series
Darth Sidious is making the first appearance from the new line of Star Wars Mimobot USB drives. This is one cool looking drive too, check out the detail in the hands with blue electricity emanating from his finger tips.
The Mimobot Darth Sidious is one well designed and crafty looking gadget and will become available from Mimobot within the next couple of days.

New Star Wars Mimobots – Well Almost
Mimoco is on the verge of announcing another set of Star Wars Mimobot USB drives. This next line is their Series 3 and Mimoco will be announcing new drives between now and July 23rd. Mimoco is having a Star Wars Mimobot contest – you can enter here – so enter to win a free drive! I did. It’s a fun little guessing game.
The Series 2 Mimobots are still available. Maybe they aren’t as hot as we are led to believe (announcement of 2,000 available back in Nov ’07).
Tokidoki For Mimobot Is Coming
Mimobot, the company which makes those lovable, fun and sometimes crazy looking USB drives is now coming out with Tokidoki Branded UFDs. Renowned Italian artist Simone Legno and his popular Tokidoki brand is crossing over to the fashion tech world with the introduction of the Tokidoki Mimobot.
Legno, the artistic genius behind the wildly successful, super-kawaii Tokidoki lifestyle brand, joins creative forces with Mimoco to bring you monkey adorned Meletta, Italian devil chef Pastaio and treasure hunting Pirate Nero.
Meaning “sometimes” in Japanese, Tokidoki was named because of Simon’s love for Japanese culture and because he believes “everyone waits for moments that change one’s destiny”
The Mimobot series will be released April 18th where Simone wil be in New York at the Comic Con store. You can pre order now, and if you’re into Tokidoki you should as only 2,000 of each Mimobot Pirate Nero, Pastaio and Meletta will be made.
Halo 3 Mimobot – Master Chief
The Mimico Halo 3 Master Chief isn’t R rated, but is one cool collectors item if you’re into Halo. As with all Mimobot items, the Halo 3 is only available in limited quantity (5,000) and available in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities.
The Master Chief comes with exclusive content such as Halo 3 artwork, episode of “This Spartan Life” and other digital content.

New: Mimobot King and Queen; Why Is It Rated R?
Designed by Undoboy, a member of the Spear Collection, Mimobot introduces the King and Queen series.
Patterned with all the royal shapes of diamonds, hearts, clubs and spades the USB King and USB Queen collection is another unique design from Mimoco.
Included in the limited edition USB drive is a short animation, wallpapers and icons. What is odd about this release is Mimobot labeling the series as “R” and “Not For Kids” The response from Mimoco:
The content on the King and Queen units contains footage of artists using expletives, being extremely frank, etc…
As a foot note; Mimobot is running a 25% OFF back to school sale so if any of their characters where the right design, but the wrong price (like their Starwars Stormtropper or Chewbacca) – might be worth another revisit.

Mimobot Is Back – Nine New Models
So what exactly are we looking at? Mimobot USB characters have always been a little off in their design, but I guess that’s why their following is so strong. Or is it?
Nine new models came out last week and they are strange – must be based off the characters in the animated movie, Chicken Little. So lets do a quick run-down.
