USB flash drives continue to pave the way on how people use solid state memory. First we had the simple replacement of the floppy via USB thumb drive, then our beloved U3 platform for portable applications, now we see bands releasing music on flash drives. I don’t think we’ll ever see that from Compact Flash or Sony and their Memory Stick.
