10 Million Flash Drives and Still Going Strong – Super Talent
Super Talent will ship their 10 millions flash time sometime mid March. With 30 model styles (I only counted 26 on web site) to choose from, things wont be slowing down anytime soon.
Super Talent began making flash drives in 2003 and focused on high performance, solid engineering and attractive packaging styles to claim their market share.
All Super Talent UFDs, like the FireBall, are made in their Northern California facility which houses fourteen SMT machines, in addition every flash drive is tested before shipment, meaning an extremely low failure rate (although backed by lifetime warranty).
So once again, this is another indication that USB, especially flash drives, will continue to grow and eat up marketing share for portable storage devices.
